Longer adjusting adapter for WIFD GT81-M48

The William Optics FLAT68III longer adjusting adapter for WIFD GT81-M48 will allow you to use the FLAT68III flattener on a Gran Turismo 81 WIFD refractor. It ends with a male M48 thread for connection to the imaging train.

This adapter has a total length of 54mm. This is longer than the 30mm original that is supplied with the FLAT68III flattener.

To use the adapter, remove the short version that was supplied with the FLAT68III flattener. Next, replace it with this longer version. If you have a Gran Turismo 81 WIFD refractor, set the flattener at 2mm.

 

  • Male thread: M48x0.75
  • Female Thread: M80x0.75
  • Length: 54mm

To use this adapter, simply unscrew the original end adapter that terminates in the M48 male thread on the flattener and replace it with this longer adapter.

The correct back focus setting specifications for the P-FLAT68III with GT81 WIFD telescope is 2mm.
