The Super Mount Astro Tripod is a highly stable, robust tripod for use with telescopes, binoculars and cameras. The SUPER-CYG42GRDL version has been designed specifically for the Rainbow Astro RST-135 and RST-135E harmonic drive telescope mounts.

It’s ideal for securely holding heavy optical equipment.  It’s made from high modulus carbon fibre and features a quick and study locking system.

The SUPER-CYG42GRDL Astro Carbon Fibre Tripod includes:

  • Height-adjustable tripod legs
  • Geared height-adjustable center pier
  • Four supporting mounts allowing improved vibration characteristics
  • Under 1/10 oscillation rate compared to existing geared tripods
  • Less than 0.01 degree of difference in images between maximum and minimum height 
  • Two or three times thicker than other products on the market
  • Tripod spikes and rubber feet.
